Another winner from Ava Miles

This is my 3rd book to read in this series. It’s been just as good as the others. It’s so nice & so rare to read books that are not filled with one graphic sex scene after another. There is love & there is passion, but it’s not written in a vulgar way. Mostly her books bring God & church & the Bible almost as another character in the books. But, again, she doesn’t beat you over the head with it. It’s just a part of who her characters are. Thank you Ava Miles. Please keep doing what you do & I’ll keep reading what you write!

Great book, loved it

First I have to say I love Ava Mile’s books, and this one is no exception. I always get so immersed in the books and the characters that I can forget I am only reading about them. The Fountain of Infinite Wishes is the 5th book in the Dare Valley series. You do not have to have read all of the books in the series to read this book, it can be read by itself. This book is about Shelby and Vander’s story, but also about the McGuiness siblings getting answers on their father’s disappearance. Vander is a Private Investigator that Shelby and her siblings hire to find out about what happened to their father since their mother will not give them any information. Their father disappeared when they were a very young, and their mother has never answered any questions about it. This is a great story, but it also pulls at your heart for what they must be going through, it’s a trying time with so many emotions for all of the siblings to deal with. On top of all that, Vander and Shelby have had a sexual attraction from the first time they met and Vander is trying to keep things professional because he won’t date a client, although Shelby respects that she doesn’t make it easy. Throughout the story you keep trying to guess why their dad left, what kind of bad things did he do, or what was so bad for him to leave with no trace, and is he alive or dead. This is a great story and when you find out why the dad left you will be surprised. I encourage anyone looking for a great story, about life, love, wishes and believing to read this and all the other Dare Valley books. "I was given an advanced copy. A wonderful addition to the Dare River series!

Shelby made wishes in her employer's magic fountain: for the job, for her family...to find her father. She firmly believed in the power of those wishes. Vander is a private investigator who believes in luck, not wishes. He works hard to find the answers to others' problems, where his own remained unanswered. Recommended by her employer, Shelby and her sister hire Vander to help find their daddy. There is an instant connection that both fight very hard to ignore. As the search continues, bringing new information and finding new relatives, Shelby and Vander become closer until they cannot ignore the sparks any longer. Ms. Miles again brings a heart-wrenching and thought-provoking tale to her readers. I highly recommend this book, as well as the rest of her novels! I was given an advanced copy. The Fountain of Infinite Wishes

Shelby and Vander are pretty strong characters and the story is different from any I've read. The relationship between them is electric and funny. I have read all of Ava's books and while it's a good book it's not my favorite I received an ebook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. Wishes and Healing

Before reading THE FOUNTAIN OF INFINITE WISHES I hadn’t thought about the concept of wishing in a long time. It had nothing to do with not believing in wishing but more that every day life had slipped on like a comfortable sock and I just didn’t consider what it meant to wish. Shelby and Vander’s story changed that. Shelby McGuiness believes wholeheartedly in wishing and does so in the fountain outside of her boss’s home. This quote sums up her beliefs quite nicely saying, "Shelby liked to think of Gail’s fountain as the fountain of infinite wishes. Her luck had changed for the better the moment she’d thrown that first coin into the water..." Vander Montgomery is logical and fact driven. He long ago stopped making wishes when he felt God ignored his wishes after a family tragedy left him brokenhearted. But even broken hearts can learn to wish again when the right person comes into your life. No matter how much Shelby and Vander attempt to keep a professional distance, they are drawn together time and again as if their souls were overriding their pragmatic views. Vander hits the nail on the head when he tells Shelby, ‘We react all the time to people we don’t know,” he said, staring at her. “Sometimes we even find ourselves caring about them and their feelings without fully knowing why.” …wow, I can attest to that happening in life no matter the type of relationship. Sometimes the heart just knows. I loved seeing the connection leading to sparks ultimately leading to love that not only connects two souls but heals Vander’s heart and restores his belief that life should be full of wishes. And maybe, just maybe, I’m remembering to make my own wishes again too.

Love, love this series of books!

Wow! I love this Dare Valley series of books! From the moment I started reading The Fountain of Infinite Wishes I was drawn right back in the McGuiness's lives like I had just read the previous one last week! It had been months! Shelby is just a heck of a southern belle, and what a pistol she is! Ava Miles has a way of drawing you into the characters lives and as a reader you become to care about these people. I found myself laughing, sobbing at times, and being very melancholy too. I could barely put the book down! If you're looking for a wonderful series of books that draws you into the lives of characters look no more! The Dare Valley series is what your looking for!
